Emily is a solicitor at JBHS Solicitors specialising in all aspects of residential conveyancing and property law. This includes: sale and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, housing association right to buys and land disputes.

Emily also assists first time buyers with Lifetime and Help to Buy ISAs take their first steps onto the property ladder.

Emily is client orientated and is keen that clients understand the legal process of property law, and that they aren’t just taken through the motions.

Career History

Emily has a 2:1 Law Degree as well as a Masters in Legal Practice from Leeds Law School. Emily obtained work experience here in 2015 and following her studies completed her training contract under the supervision of our Fleur Everett (Partner) and qualified as a Solicitor in January 2020. Emily moved away but returned to the firm in 2025.

When not working

Emily is very busy running round after her little boy. When she has free time she enjoys baking and playing netball.
